Eight long years have passed since the city-building strategy game Caesar III was released by Sierra. For the last two years, developers over at Tilted Mill Entertainment have been working at the new Caesar, enriching the user's experience with great 3D graphics, while keeping and improving the superb game play, easily-remembered by everyone who played Caesar III.

I remember waiting minutes and minutes which seemed endless for the game to load (until I bought more memory), and of course I remember playing Caesar III hours at a time on my old PC. I used to have complicated city development schemes, depending on the city's location, natural resources and development space. A long time has passed since that time, and nowadays most of the games use the cool 3D experience to increase realism and I think the development team has done a very good job adding a new dimension to the superb 2D game.

After finding out that the new Caesar IV is announced to be released this fall, I had to get my hands on the game demo (you can get by following the Caesar IV Demo link on the links page). Given my web developemnt background, it wasn't long until I decided my friend and I had to build and set up a Caesar IV Fan Site - I think it's the first - so I could bring together all the Caesar series fans, and to organize and present information scattered all over the internet.
